Save your favorite Bible or have a new Bible custom rebound your way. Each book is hand rebound using your choice of materials and color. Standard rebinding includes new cover in your choice below, new colored end papers, new standard stock ribbons, Holy Bible stamped in gold foil on the spine. Also minor page repair including sewing first and last signatures where needed.
For your convenience when shipping a Bible to us for rebinding, we have designed an order form that you can fill out, print and send with your book. Yapp Edges - (extra wide leather edges on covers) - We no longer offer the Yapp edge on hand Bibles although we can make the covers wider than normal (up to 1/4" wider than the pages). Please request wide covers in the notes area on the submission form.
Bindings - We offer four types of cover flexibility:
Standard - same as most standard bookstore Bibles
Stiff - extra heavy boards (not hardcover) - semi-rigid
Flexible - thin board is used - very flexible
Limp - leather lined cover with very thin board (Deluxe package only)
Re-use old cover - Many times when the original cover is in good condition but the binding is falling apart and some signatures (groups of folded pages) are loose, we can make the repairs, add new end-sheets (blank pages found inside the front and back covers) and rebind the Bible into the original cover. This adds many years to the life of the book without the expense of a total binding. The average cost is from $35 to $45 depending on the condition.
